JEFF HARTZER ON SET

With an initial background casting call on a frigid weekend at the Bonanza Creek Ranch in Cerrillos, New Mexico, Jeff Hartzer appeared in Season One of AMC's PREACHER as one of the Cooley Men. Continuing with work in Season Three and Season Four of AMC's Better Call Saul, Jeff Hartzer has enjoyed working background and being a background driver for the blossoming New Mexico Film Industry.

Jeff is fortunate to be a background worker on Season One of EPIX TV's "Our Lady" filmed in the Santa Fe area. He may or may not be "background/driver" for the now famously un-named and very hush hush BREAKING BAD Movie possibly filming or not fiming somewhere deep in the heart of New Mexico's secret high desert landscapes. You did not read that here.

Many thanks to Ms. Kathryn Wamego and staff at White Turtle Casting of Albuquerque.

Lived many years beofre spending two days and nights n a big-assed cold barn with real horse and buuggies and bar nmaids and the Saint of Killers wandering around. In those two days and l;onmg nights I learned that you get paid "a bump" to be bloodied up and that despite many layers of clothes, took days to fully wash Lady MacBeth's damned spots.Thw warmth of others in like ire made it for meomories beyond compare. Gentleman to below right, was Walter White's body double. Such fun talking. Such interesting people as extras with New Mexico Film.

Legal Note: my six pix above were taken off the actual set for PREACHER. Hours spent in Extra's holding can be boring or magnificent or both, if allowed, cell phones a must. No pix published publically until after Season One.

I survived many Florida rides on this Honda Hawk

This 1967 Mercedes 250s brought me from Jacksonville Florida to Tacoma, Washington. Four years later, this beautifully strong classic car carried my future bride and I all the way to Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I was a Rural Mail Carrier for a brief time. Best part of that gig was fixing up and enjoying for a number of years this 1971 AMC Mail Jeep with a 272 six cylinder Chevy engine and doors that opened oh-so-wide.
