On a World-wide tour, DRUM DRUM performed an evening of dynamic music and 'theater' to a SOLD OUT house at the AirDance ArtSpace , home of AirDance New Mexico .

Based in Darwin in the tropical north of Australia, Drum Drum draws upon their diverse cultures and ancestry to create a style of music never heard before. Drum Drum has been at the forefront of contemporary Pacific music and dance in Australia. These young Islanders are taking the world by storm with their unique combination of traditional and western instruments. Ancient songs and pounding garamut (log drum) rhythms, ceremonial chants and bamboo flutes have been used so creatively in the band. Lead by the gorgeous vocals of lead singer Tau Ingram and backed by a deadly rhythm section, this music is truly powerful.

Brought to us by the incrdedible folks at , this was a night of fun for all of us at the AirDanceArtSpace.

Setting up their elaborate LOG DRUMS and electronic gear was quite a feat in itself. These first two pictures are 'pre-show', before the place turned into a full night of fun for a sold out crowd.

'The World's Largest Collage' 9a grwoing work by Jeff Hartzer may be seen to your right in the Dance Rehearsal Studio that leads to The Theater for the AirDance ArtSpace.
