Groundwork : began on January 19th, 2003. The hardwood floor is protected then the interior of what is to be the 'Aerial Black Box Theater' is stripped. A concrete foundation is laid both on the inside and outside for a steel structured building that will 'raise the roof' for aerial performances. A sidewalk is removed and odd bullet-shaped obsidian rocks (from a gold smelting operation in Northern N.M.) are moved. Preparations are begun for a new 'accessible' bathroom. We discover that the only existing insulation in the building was on windows which had been covered with stucco. Improvements are begun on what will be the 'main entrance' to the aerial black box theater.
