New Mexico has seven pueblos. One of our favorites is the Acoma Pueblo with its ancient Sky City. Perched high in the rocky mesa, Sky City is the oldest continuously inhabited city on the United States. Sky City is located 60 miles west of Albuquerque on I-40 and 12 miles south on Indian Route 23, Exit 108.
